studyinG AT SHIRELAND BIOMEDICAL UTC SIXTH FORM

In conjunction with other academies in the Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust, Shireland Biomedical UTC can offer a wide range of courses for students to choose from.

Students are required to have:

x5 GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths, at grade 5 or above.
Minimum of grade 5 or above at GCSE in order to be considered to study a subject at A level.
Met any additional entry requirements for specific subjects.

We consider students wishing to study four A level or equivalent qualifications on a case-by-case basis.

English and Maths Resits

If you do not have a grade 4 in English or Maths, we offer the opportunity to resit. As every student’s situation is different, the best next step is to speak with our team. We can talk through your individual circumstances and advise on the options available to you.

Our post-16 courses are seamlessly offered across both Shireland CBSO and Shireland Biomedical campuses. This provides students with the flexibility to access a rich educational experience within our vibrant learning community, just a brief stroll away.
