Shireland Biomedical UTC Sixth Form has launched its first-ever Bursary Shop, providing eligible students with free revision guides, textbooks, stationery and essential study resources to support them as they begin their A level and vocational studies. The initiative was launched during a welcome event for the Academy’s new year 12 students and their families, helping to prepare students for the transition from GCSEs to post-16 education and ensuring they have access to the resources and guidance needed to succeed. The Bursary Shop provides eligible students with materials to support independent study and revision, helping to reduce financial barriers and ensuring they have access to essential resources for their chosen subjects.
