Shireland Biomedical UTC is excited to announce that it will be opening its doors to prospective students and their families for its upcoming open event on Thursday 17 September 2026, from 4:00pm – 7:00pm. No booking required. The event offers an early opportunity for families to explore the Academy for Year 7 entry, starting September 2027. Visitors will be able to tour the Academy’s subject department and cutting-edge facilities, speak directly with staff and students about academy life and meet the Principal. Shireland Biomedical UTC is committed to helping students fulfil their potential by combining rigorous academic study with hands-on, practical experiences. As the first University Technical College in the UK to specialise in health and medical sciences, the Academy goes beyond traditional classroom
