by tram or bus
Traveling to school and college is a great way for young people to develop their confidence and independence. There’s a great transport network on our doorstep with the tram or bus especially ideal ways to reach us.
by car or taxi
There’s no on-site parking at the UTC but there are some drop-off and disabled parking bays outside the school, although these are not specifically allocated for the use of our students, staff or visitors.
by bike
For anyone wanting to cycle to UTC there’s a secure on-site bike store at the school. Local cycle routes from the High Street connect to those in Great Barr, Smethwick, Wednesbury Tipton, and Dudley. There’s also an off-road cycle track along Parkway Metro from Hawthorns through West Bromwich to Black Lake.

We are served by good, well-lit pavements and public thoroughfares for those able to walk.
