CURRICULUM
All our new Year 7 students will take GCSEs in English Language, English Literature, Mathematics and combined science and at least one of the English Baccalaureate (EBacc) subjects – Geography, History, German or Computer Science. Students will also complete a qualification in Health and Social Care or Triple Science as standard.
It is the academy’s aim that all students will study at least nine GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications, with the code offering described above supplemented by a range of optional subjects.
In addition to the range of qualification detailed above, students will have timetabled Phyiscal Education lessons and also receive education in areas such as relationships and sex education, citizenship, careers and religious education, which are delivered through tutor time and our focus day programme.
