Shireland Biomedical UTC is delighted to announce that it will be opening its doors to prospective students and their parents on Tuesday 17 September 4.00pm-7.00pm and Saturday 21 September 10.30am-12.30pm. No need to book, just turn up.
The UTC is committed to supporting its students in fulfilling their potential, going above and beyond to provide an exceptional education that gives students the essential knowledge and skills for a happy, successful future.
During the open event, families will have the opportunity to interact with subject departments, view cutting-edge facilities including the mock hospital ward, speak to teachers and students about life at Shireland Biomedical UTC, and meet the Principal.
Acting Principal, Gulfam Shahzad, said: “We take immense pride in our fantastic facilities, dedicated staff, and a curriculum that equips students with the skills to excel in their chosen paths. We look forward to sharing more about our approach with prospective students and their families at our open events.”
Families are advised to arrive early, allowing ample time to get the most of their visit and help make the right, informed decision for your child’s education.
Applications for parents applying for secondary school places through Sandwell are now open, with applications through Dudley opening Sunday 1 September 2024. From these dates, parents of children moving into Year 7 will be able to apply for their place via their local authority.
